How NeverDue works

Everything you need to get started in under 5 minutes.

1. Sign in with Google

NeverDue uses your Google account to write events to your Google Calendar. We request only the minimum access needed — we can write events but cannot read your existing calendar or emails.

2. Pick your username

After signing in you'll choose a username. This becomes your personal NeverDue address: username@user.neverdue.ca. Any email forwarded to this address will be scanned for deadlines and events.

3. Set up email forwarding

In your email client, create a forwarding rule to send relevant emails to your NeverDue address. You can forward everything or just specific senders — it's up to you. Here's how to set it up in common clients:

Gmail

Settings → See all settings → Filters and Blocked Addresses → Create a new filter → Forward to username@user.neverdue.ca

Outlook

Settings → Mail → Rules → Add new rule → Forward to your NeverDue address.

Apple Mail / iCloud

icloud.com/mail → Settings gear → Rules → Add a Rule → Forward to your NeverDue address.

4. Events appear automatically

When an email arrives at your NeverDue address, our AI reads it and extracts any deadlines, meetings, or calendar events. These are written directly to your Google Calendar with reminders — usually within seconds.

5. Manage categories and reminders

In the Categories section you can create categories (e.g. Work, University, Personal) and assign reminder times. Rules let you automatically categorize emails based on sender or keyword — so emails from your professor go to University and emails from your boss go to Work.

6. Filter senders

On the Sources page you can block specific senders or domains, or set up an allowlist so only trusted senders can add events to your calendar.

Free vs Pro

The free tier gives you 30 email scans per month and up to 3 categories. Pro gives you unlimited scans, unlimited categories, and the ability to upload files (PDFs, images, text) directly for extraction.

FAQ

What if the AI misses an event or gets it wrong?

You can edit or delete any event from your dashboard. The AI is accurate but not perfect — always review important deadlines.

Will I get duplicate events?

NeverDue deduplicates events by start and end time — if two emails mention the same event at the same time, only one event is created.

Can I use NeverDue with multiple email accounts?

Yes — forward from as many email accounts as you want to your single NeverDue address.

Is my email content stored?

No. Emails are processed in real time and discarded immediately. We only store the extracted event data.

How do I cancel Pro?

Go to Billing → Manage subscription. You can cancel anytime and keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.
